Indianapolis Colts
The Indianapolis Colts lost to the Tampa Bay Buccaneers 38-35 on Sunday, December 8. The Colts record fell to 6-7 on the season. On Monday, December 9, kicker Adam Vinatieri was moved to the Injured Reserve after undergoing season ending surgery on his left knee. Wide receiver Parris Campbell was also placed on the Injured Reserve List with a broken foot. On Tuesday, December 10, Indianapolis signed wide receiver Dontrelle Inman to the roster. Inman was with the Colts during the 2018-19 season. The Colts play again on Monday night, December 16, against the New Orleans Saints in New Orleans at 8:15 p.m. on ESPN.
Indiana Pacers
The Indiana Pacers started off the week on a sour note as they fell to Los Angeles Clippers 110-99 on Monday, December 9, in Paul George’s return to face his former team. Wednesday, December 11, the Pacers took down a top team in the Eastern Conference. They defeated the Boston Celtics 122-117. On Friday, December 13, the Pacers defeated the Atlanta Hawks 110-100. Then, on Saturday, December 14, rookie center Goga Bitadze was assigned to the Fort Wayne Mad Ants. The blue and gold ended the week with a record of 17-9. The Pacers are back in action tonight, December 15 at 5:00 p.m. at Bankers Life Fieldhouse as they take on the Charlotte Hornets. The game will air on Fox Sports Indiana.
Fort Wayne Mad Ants
On Tuesday, December 10, the Mad Ants lost to the Lakeland Magic by a score of 102-91. On Friday, December 13, the Mad Ants defeated the Erie Bayhawks. They won 109-103. On Saturday, December 14, Pacers’ center Goga Bitadze was assigned to the Mad Ants for his Fort Wayne debut. The Mad Ants played the Bayhawks again an defeated them for a second time in as many days. This time they won by a score 113-93. Bitadze had 26 points and 14 rebounds in his debut. The Mad Ants ended the week with a record of 5-10. Indy Fuel
The Indy Fuel defeated the Kansas City Mavericks 4-0 on Tuesday, December 10. They followed Tuesday’s game up with another win against the Toledo Walleye 4-3 in overtime on Thursday, December 12. On Friday, December 13, they faced the Walleye again and lost 6-2. The Fuel ended the week on Saturday, December 14, by defeating the Kalamazoo Wings 5-2. The Fuel currently have a 12-13 record. Indy is back in action on Friday, December 20, against the Fort Wayne Komets at 8:05 p.m.
