After reflecting for a few days and witnessing the first few hours of the legal tampering period for free agency - I don't love my top-10 but at this point, it is what it is. In retrospect, I don't know if the Giants trade up for Dwayne Haskins especially now that they have already unloaded Olivier Vernon. I also don't think DK Metcalf will go 7th to the Jaguars. To recap the top-10:
.)ARI - QB - Murray
.) SF - DE - Bosa
.) NYG (trade up) - QB - Haskins
.) OAK - Edge - Allen
.) TB - DT - Williams
.) NYJ (trade down) - DE - Gary
.) JAX - WR - Metcalf
.) DET - Edge - Sweat
.) BUF - OT - Taylor
.) DEN - LB - White
Like I said, I don't love my top-10, but here's my crack at picks 11 through 20:
.) Cincinnati Bengals; Andre Dillard, Offensive Tackle, Washington State - Best pass protector in the draft and with change to a more offensive-minded head coach, they need to protect Andy Dalton (or whoever lines up behind Center in 2019) so he can get the ball to AJ Green, Tyler Boyd, and John Ross.
.) Green Bay Packers; Jonah Williams, Offensive Tackle, Alabama - Protect Aaron or get some talent for the defense, protecting Rodgers would be my priority and a guy who could help at either tackle or guard seems like the way to go.
.) Miami Dolphins; Drew Lock, Quarterback, Mizzou - Dolphins get their Ryan Tannehill replacement. About time. Not sure if Lock will be an improvement, but I think Brian Flores gets his guy to launch his career as head coach in Miami.
.) Atlanta Falcons; T.J. Hockenson, Tight End, Iowa - Hockenson is the best Tight End to enter the league in a while, in my opinion. He has soft hands and is a strong blocker. Matt Ryan, Devonta Freeman, Julio Jones, Mohamed Sanu, Calvin Ridley, and Hockenson would likely give the Falcons the league's best collection of talent on offense. Hockenson is a top-10 talent and the Falcons would be lucky to get him.
.) Washington Redskins; Greedy Williams, Cornerback, LSU - Lengthy corner to put opposite of Josh Norman, doesn't really fulfill a need for the Redskins but I think it does seal up their back end with this move. They need edge help, to pair with Ryan Kerrigan but I think that comes later in the draft.
.) Carolina Panthers; Devin Bush, Linebacker, Michigan - Thomas Davis replacement. Enough said. They have a need at edge rusher, but I don't love anyone at this point and I don't know if the Panthers will either.
.) Cleveland Browns; Greg Little, Offensive Tackle, Ole Miss - Best o-lineman available at this point. With the Browns trading Right Guard Kevin Zeitler to the Giants for Olivier Vernon, and still not having a true Joe Thomas replacement, they need line help. Plus, protecting Baker needs to be a priority.
.) Minnesota Vikings; Ed Oliver, Defensive Tackle, Houston - Best player available or need? I'm going with both here. At one point, Oliver was a surefire top-two pick in my mind but he fall to 18 due to questions about his size. He will fill the 3-technique on Minnesota's talented d-line for years to come.
.) Tennessee Titans; Noah Fant, Tight End, Iowa - Delanie Walker is old. Fant is the perfect replacement. Sure they have, Johnu Smith among others, but Fant is better than all of them.
.) Pittsburgh Steelers; Riley Ridley, Wide Receiver, Georgia - It's unlikely that a rookie will replace Antonio Brown, but Ridley could help fill the gap and while the Steelers have other needs, I don't know if there is anyone who would entice them more than Ridley here at 20.
Free agency and trades will continue to shake things up. I will be posting picks for the 12 playoff teams later in the week.
