Did That Just Happen? Colts Defeat Chiefs!

Good God Almighty did the Indianapolis #Colts make the Kansas City Chiefs look bad. That Chiefs high-powered offense? Stifled. Patrick Mahomes? Only one touchdown and sacked FOUR times. The man had only been sacked three times through the first four games. A completely decimated Colts’ secondary made the reigning Most Valuable Player, Mahomes, look only slightly better than Brock “The Brocketship” Osweiler.

Oh and how about my guy Justin Houston? Walked into Kansas City and wreaked absolute havoc on the Chief’s defense. He and the defensive line were in Mahomes’ face all night! He finished the game with one sack and four combined tackles, but his last tackle was the most important. That last tackle, it stopped the Chiefs from getting a first down and effectively sealed the victory for the Colts.

How about that kicker? If you were wanting Adam Vinatieri to retire, well eat your words because the G.O.A.T. is ALL THE WAY BACK. The NFL's All-Time Points leader went 4-4 on field goals and 1-1 on extra points. Without Vinny, this game is not what it was. He was as important as the injury riddled defense making Mahomes look incompetent. He was as important as running back, Marlon Mack, running against what looked like a middle school defense. Adam Vinatieri was there when the Colts needed him and shame on all of us for thinking otherwise.

If there was bad side to last night it was that the referees were bad, like they have been all season. The pass interference challenge is an absolute joke. The referees are not even overturning the most obvious of miscalls. They are, however, changing turnovers when they want keep Mahomes touchdown to interception ratio perfect. Pat McAfee has been saying it all season and I agree; the referees are not good.

Despite the bad officiating, Sunday Night Football Analyst Chris Collinsworth worshiping Mahomes for three straight hours, and every so called “expert” on Football Night in America choosing the Chiefs to win, your Indianapolis Colts went into Kansas City, which is in Missouri (just weird), and made the Chiefs look foolish.

It took me awhile to be all in on this team, but now I am. Quarterback Jacoby Brissett? All-in. Marlon Mack? All-in. The Defense? Well, I still do not like Cover 2, but they did that to Mahomes so, All-in. Colts being contenders? ALL THE WAY IN.
