Former Indianapolis Colts’ wide receiver Reggie Wayne became a nominee for the 2020 Pro Football Hall of Fame in his first year of eligibility. Wayne was drafted by the #Colts thirtieth out of THE U (University of Miami) in the 2001 NFL Draft and played with the Colts until he retired after the 2014 season (I refuse to acknowledge his training camp stint with the New England Patriots). In his fourteen year career he played 211 games while racking up 1,070 receptions, 14,345 receiving yards and eighty-two touchdowns. In twenty-one playoff games Wayne had ninety-three receptions, 1,254 receiving yards, and nine touchdowns. The wide out was a six time Pro Bowler, a one time First Team All-Pro in 2010, a two time Second Team All-Pro in 2007 and 2009, a member of the Colts' Ring of Honor, and a one time Super Bowl Champion. He helped bring Indianapolis it’s first and only Lombardi Trophy in 2006.

Reggie Wayne is one of the greatest receivers to ever wear a Colts' uniform and one of the best to ever come into the NFL. I do not know if he will make it into the Pro Football Hall Of Fame on his first ballot, but he will absolutely make it someday. You are Hall of Fame in my book Reggie. Below are highlights from Wayne's career from NFL Throwback:

Per colts.com the other Colts to be nominated for 2020 Pro Football Hall Of Fame are lineback Cornelius Bennett, tight end Dallas Clark, wide receiver and return man Josh Cribbs, center Ray Donaldson, offensive lineman Chris Hinton, defensive end Simeon Rice, safety Bob Sanders, center Jeff Saturday, punter Ron Stark, and running back The Edge, Edgerrin James!
